MOLLI wool

 

Clothes in knit Molli are knitted from pure extra fine natural virgin wool yarns of the highest quality.

Molli chose the « pure new wool » as its raw material, coming from merinos sheep exclusively bred for their wool, shorn during springtime once per year. 

Merino new wool is a unique fibre, with many properties. Thanks to the fineness and the length of its fibres, its quality is the highest. 

The wool used by Molli is sorted, checked, washed, combed, dyed, dried, tested and spun in Italy in a workshop that has been expert in spinning for generations. Only the finest, longest and silkiest fibres are used. "Extrafine" means that the micron size of the fibres retained is less than 19.5 microns; this extremely fine micron size is almost equivalent to the micron size of cashmere fibres, hence the name "cashmere touch wool".

Soft and breathable, it gives an excellent comfort when worn directly on the skin.

Worked in the brand's iconic foam stitch, the tops, flowing skirts and birthwear are inimitably soft.
