Anna Polonski becomes a Molli woman. Curious, instinctive and exacting, she shares her world, her inspirations and her vision of elegance.

Can you describe yourself in 3 words?
Curious, instinctive, demanding.
Avez-vous un projet que vous souhaitez nous partager ?
I'm currently working with my husband on the renovation of a farmhouse in Normandy, conceived as a place of living and creation. A space to explore more freely, away from the sometimes overly algorithmic logic of big cities. Alongside this, I'm developing a design book - more details to follow!
A word you love to hear?
"Grace." Both a way of being and something life sometimes grants, almost like a form of magic. A gentleness that leaves a mark, a fragile balance between lightness and precision, which makes things right without overemphasizing them.
One thing nobody knows about you?
I hate video calls, and yet I've spent my days on them since the pandemic. I find we've lost a real form of intimacy there, and the other person sometimes gets offended when you try to preserve it.
What's your best grandmother's secret?
More my mother's, actually - a dermatologist who is now a grandmother! - sleep remains the best remedy.
The most useless thing you know how to do?
Archiving the superfluous in an extremely methodical way, on my computer as well as in my memory. I'm also pretty good at darts!
A superpower you'd misuse?
Reading minds, I'd end up looking for answers where it's better to leave space.
The biggest mistake you made as a child?
A classic: giving too much weight to what others thought.
What's your book of the moment?
Mon Vrai Nom est Elizabeth by Adèle Yon, a book that explores roots, my favorite subject, family memory and the way stories, and fragilities, are passed down.
How do you feel when you wear fine-knit accessories or clothing?
A rare balance between heritage and play, a very mastered kind of craftsmanship that leaves room for color, and freedom of pattern and form.
