Our commitments

Exceptional yarns
Molli excellence is embodied in the choice of yarns: pure wool extra fine virgin spun in italy, mercerized cotton are the basis of the fine knit clothing collections, to which are added each season a few touches of creative yarns from the finest spinning mills in the industry, yarns with crepe, sparkling, sequined or ribbon effects.
A real bias on the part of a house for which creativity is expressed as much in the choice of exceptional yarns as in the innovative knitting technics.
Animal welfare
On the farms in Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand where the Maison Molli’s extra-fine pure virgin wool is sourced, sheep are raised free-range in their natural habitat.
In addition, Maison Molli is committed to using certified “mulesing-free” wool, ensuring that the sheep have not been subjected to any cruelty. This certification requires farmers to care for their animals regularly, including shearing certain areas more frequently to help prevent parasites.

The Molli quality
The quality of a fine knit garment begins with the choice of yarn. Maison Molli works with premium yarns renowned for the length and purity of their fibres: pure virgin wool and extra-fine Egyptian cotton, ensuring an exceptionally soft and silky feel.
Maison Molli works closely with partner workshops in France and Italy, whose craftsmanship has combined remarkable creativity with uncompromising quality for generations.
Responsible production

Certified cotton
Maison Molli has chosen an extra-fine mercerised cotton yarn: lustrous, durable, soft and silky.
Molli cotton is certified by several recognised labels, including the REACH and OEKO-TEX® certifications, which ensure that the cotton contains no harmful substances; the STEP by OEKO‑TEX® label, which guarantees fair working conditions for producers; and finally the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, ensuring that the cotton is made of at least 95% certified organic fibres.
Exceptional wool
Maison Molli knits exclusively with pure virgin wool sourced from healthy, living sheep raised solely for their wool. These sheep are shorn once a year, and only the finest fleece is selected.
Maison Molli works exclusively with wool from Merino sheep, a breed known for its exceptionally dense fleece, from which a fibre with remarkable properties is obtained: 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable, as well as hypoallergenic and thermoregulating, making it particularly suitable for babies and young children.
The wool is combed, dyed and spun in Italian mills renowned for their expertise over generations.
The wool fibres selected by Maison Molli measure less than 18.5 microns in diameter, a fineness comparable to that of cashmere fibres.

FSC-Certified Packaging
Like all of Maison Molli’s paper materials (including labels, tissue paper, invoices and shopping bags) the Molli boxes used to ship orders from molli.com are made from recycled cardboard and FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified, reflecting the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Since 2021, Maison Molli has also partnered with Hipli for its internal logistics operations, using reusable packaging solutions to reduce cardboard consumption.
